Kumaon Tour package Tour Itinerary
Kumaon Tour for 9 days 8 Night
Day 01: Kathgodam to Corbett
On the first day, you will arrive at Kathgodam and then take a 2.5-hour drive of approximately 60 kilometers to reach Corbett. You will check into a resort in Nainital for an overnight stay.
Day 02: Corbett to Kaushani
Start your day with a morning jeep safari in Corbett National Park. After having breakfast, you will take a 135-kilometer drive to Kaushani, which will take around 5 hours. You will spend the night at a resort in Kaushani.
Day 03: Kaushani to Chaukori
On day 3, you will visit the Baijnath Temple at the confluence of the Gomati and Garur Ganga rivers, which is known for its historical significance. You will also visit the Anashakti Ashram, which is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. After that, you will proceed to Chaukori, which is an 85-kilometre drive that takes approximately 3 hours. You will spend the night in Chaukori.
Day 04: Chaukori to Munsiyari
Take in the scenic beauty of Chaukori, which offers breathtaking views of the Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, and Panchachuli peaks. After sightseeing, you will drive to Munsiyari, a picturesque destination in the Pithoragarh district. You will spend the night in Munsiyari.
Day 05: Munsiyari
On day 5, you will marvel at the snow-capped Himalayan ranges, including Panchachuli, Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, and Nepal’s mountains. Munsiyari is the base camp for Milam, Ralam, and Namaik Glaciers. You will spend the night in Munsiyari.
Day 06: Munsiyari to Almora to Binsar
You will embark on a lengthy drive of approximately 200 kilometers that will take about 7 hours to reach Almora. After that, you will spend the night in Binsar.
Day 07: Almora to Nainital
On day 7, you will explore Almora’s attractions, including the Public Museum, Nanda Devi Temple, Chetai Temple, and Deer Park. After lunch, you will drive approximately 64 kilometres to reach Nainital, which will take about 2.5 hours. You will spend the night in Nainital.
Day 08: Nainital
Discover the beauty of Nainital with local sightseeing, including Sat Tal, Hanuman Garhi, and Naina Devi Temple. You will spend the night in Nainital.
Day 9: Departure
On the last day of your trip, after breakfast, you will drive back to Kathgodam to proceed with your onward journey.
