Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun

  • Arrive in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand.
  • Check into your hotel and rest.
  • Attend a briefing about the upcoming pilgrimage.

Day 2: Dehradun to Yamunotri 

  • After breakfast, drive to Hanuman Chatti, the base for the trek to Yamunotri.
  • Start the trek or hire a pony or palanquin for the journey.
  • Visit the Yamunotri Temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.
  • Return to Hanuman Chatti and overnight stay.

Day 3: Hanuman Chatti to Gangotri 

  • Drive to Gangotri, a beautiful journey through picturesque landscapes.
  • Check into your hotel in Gangotri.
  • Visit the Gangotri Temple and take part in the evening aarti.
  • Overnight stay in Gangotri.

Day 4: Gangotri to Uttarkashi 

  • Drive to Uttarkashi, a small town located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River.
  • Visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and other local attractions.
  • Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

  • Drive to Guptkashi, a town located on the way to Kedarnath.

  • Rest and prepare for the Kedarnath trek.
  • Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath 

  • Start early for the trek to Kedarnath or take a helicopter ride (if pre-booked).
  • Visit the Kedarnath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  • After darshan (prayer), return to Guptkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Guptkashi to Badrinath 

  • Drive to Badrinath, the last destination of the Chardham Yatra.

  • Visit the Badrinath Temple and take part in the evening aarti.
  • Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 8: Badrinath to Rudraprayag 

  • Drive to Rudraprayag, a town at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers.
  • Visit the Rudraprayag Temple.
  • Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.

Day 9: Rudraprayag to Dehradun 

  • Drive back to Dehradun.
  • Conclude your Chardham Yatra with a sense of spiritual fulfillment.
  • Depart for your onward journey or stay in Dehradun for additional exploration.
