The Chardham pilgrimage is a renowned religious circuit that is visited by lakhs of devotees every year. It is located in the high Himalayas of Uttarakhand and involves visiting four Hindu pilgrimage destinations – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. This 12-day pilgrimage tour from Delhi offers a sacred darshan of all four shrines, along with comfortable accommodations and facilities in between the yatra.

Chardham Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar (225 Km: 5 Hrs)
After arriving in New Delhi, we will drive to Haridwar. Upon reaching Haridwar, you can check-in to your hotel. In the evening, you can head towards Har Ki Pauri to witness the beautiful Ganga Aarti on the banks of the Ganges. After the Aarti, you can enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Haridwar.
Day 02: Haridwar – Barkot (205 Km: 8 Hrs)
This morning, you will depart for Barkot, which is located at the base of Yamunotri. Once you arrive at Barkot, you will check-in to your hotel or campsite. You will have the rest of the day to relax and prepare yourself for the Pahad (hill) Yatra of Yamunotri, which will take place the following day. For dinner, you will enjoy a meal at Barkot before spending the night there.
Day 03: Barkot/Kharsali – Yamunotri
(45 Km: 2 Hrs + 5 Km Start Trek/5 Km Start Trek) – Barkot/Kharsali (5 Km Start Trek + 45 Km: 2 Hrs)
Depart at 5 or 6 am for Hanumanchatti, then Janki Chatti. Trek 5 km through lush green valley to Yamunotri (altitude 3,291 m), source of Yamuna river. Hire a Doli or horse. Afternoon arrival in Yamunotri for holy dip in Yamuna River, Pooja, then return to Barkot. Check in at Hotel / Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04: Barkot – Uttarkashi (85 Km: 3 Hrs)
After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel in Barkot and proceed to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel. Uttarkashi is located on the banks of the Bhagirathi river and is renowned for its historical monuments, temples, and ashrams. You will have dinner and spend the night in Uttarkashi.
Day 05: Uttarkashi – Ganganani- Gangotri

After having breakfast or a packed breakfast, you will proceed to Gangotri, a beautiful place located in the Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 3048 meters. Upon arrival at Gangotri, you can take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, which is also known as Bhagirathi at its origin, and then visit the Gangotri Temple.
The 18th-century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshiped Lord Shiva. It is believed that Ganga touched the earth at this spot. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite.
Later in the afternoon, you will drive back to Uttarkashi for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 06: Uttarkashi – Sitapur. (203 Kms/ 9Hr)
After having breakfast in the early morning, check out from the hotel and proceed to Sitapur. Dinner and an overnight stay will be arranged in Guptkashi hotel/camps.
Day 07: Sitapur – Sonprayag – Kedarnath (30 Km + 20 Km Trek)
After breakfast, you’ll check out from your hotel and drive to Sonprayag then trek 20 km to Kedarnath, and you can hire a Doli or horse (extra cost). Mandakini river originates at Kedarnath. You’ll stay at Govt. Camps/Lodges with basic accommodation on a sharing basis. Dinner and overnight stay will be provided.
Day 08: Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi (20 Km Trek + 30 Km Drive)
Early morning wake up and go to the temple by 4:45 am for the “Abhishek’ to Kedarnath Shiva and everyone can go inside Grabha graha and touch the idol.
After darshan and puja you come out of the temple and return to the Govt. Camps / Lodges. Later you’ll start the return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. The vehicles wait for you in Sonprayag Car Parking and you’ll drive to your hotel/Camps. Dinner and Overnight at Guptkashi.
Day 9: Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath (200 Km: 7 To 8 Hrs)
This morning, you will check out of the hotel and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. After driving through some beautiful Ghat road, you will arrive at Badrinath. However, please ensure that you cross Govindghat before 5:30 pm. Once you reach Badrinath, you will check into the hotel.
After some rest and refreshments, you will be ready to go to Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening. But before that, you have to take a bath in Tapt kund, and then proceed to the temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is 15 meters in height. It is built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a gilt bull and spire. Later, you will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 10: Badrinath – Joshimath – Birahi/Rudraprayag/Srinagar
(92 Km: 3 Hrs/165 Km: 5 To 6 Hrs/195 Km: 6 To 7 Hrs)
On this day, you can visit the Badrinath temple in the morning. After that return to the hotel, have breakfast, and go for a local sightseeing tour of Badrinath where you can visit the Mana Village and Bheem Pul. Later in the afternoon, you will drive back to Rudraprayag via Karanprayag.
Rudraprayag is a small town of pilgrimage, located at the holy confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. Upon arrival check in at the hotel and take the rest of the day to explore the town of Rudraprayag at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 11: Birahi/Rudraprayag/Srinagar – Rishikesh – Haridwar
(230 Km: 7 To 8 Hrs/165 Km: 5 To 6 Hrs/135 Km: 4 To 5 Hrs)
After having breakfast early in the morning, you will drive downhill to the spiritual city of Rishikesh, which is known as the Yoga capital of the world. Upon reaching Rishikesh, you will go for a sightseeing tour of Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. In the evening, you will drive to Haridwar and check into your hotel upon arrival. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
DAy 12: Haridwar – Delhi (225 Km / 5 Hrs)
Morning breakfast at the hotel, and then drive back to Delhi to complete your Chardham Yatra journey.
